Penn Station Shooting Arrested in Cranston

U.S. Marshal Jamie Hainsworth says the suspect was arrested in Cranston, Rhode Island. He will be extradited to NY, according to CBS-2.

Sources say Francisco Alsina, 23, was taken into police custody around 10 p.m. The suspect’s name was not immediately released. He was arrested on Plainfield Pike in Cranston Thursday night.

Arcona and the still-unnamed suspected shooter were wanted in connection with a Monday morning shooting that left one man dead and two others hurt. The shooting came after a fight inside a nearby McDonald’s related to drugs, police told WCBS-TV. A second man was shot once to the neck and to the stomach, according to authorities.

Police previously arrested alleged accomplice Vincent Arcona, 27, when he was recognized by doctors at Bronx Lebanon Hospital early Thursday while seeking medical attention, sources said.
