How much else of Friends was a massive lie?
During the beginning of the episode, Jennifer Aniston (aka Rachel Green) and Matt LeBlanc (aka Joey Tribbiani) go visit Monica Geller (played by Courteney Cox ) in her kitchen to talk about Joey’s exciting new audition.
In the series’ 209th episode – titled The One With The Mugging – it appears that a stand-in played the part of Rachel in one scene.
While people have been hardcore binge watching Friends on Netflix for a while, it turns out there’s something that went down in an episode that no one has noticed…until now.
Check it out for yourself. That’s not Jennifer Aniston! Those cheekbones aren’t Aniston’s cheekbones! It also includes a scene where Rachel and Joey stop by Monica’s apartment to chat.
Naturally, the speculation is that it’s a stand in, but the continuity error has put a few fans into a tailspin.
The girl is question is likely a stand-in or even a crew member that was asked to hop in while Aniston was otherwise occupied. What’s real and what isn’t? How many times are our “Friends” actually talking to someone else? Why is Gunther’s hair so bright? How did Monica afford that huge Manhattan apartment?
