Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino: ‘Six potential buyers have been in touch’

Parkin is now negotiating a buyout at Elland Road with controversial owner Massimo Cellino, and it is believed he attempted a takeover at the club back in 2013 before completing due diligence at the club.

While one would understand if Parkin brings in a new manager if he does take over Leeds, but perhaps he would be wise to speak to Evans first.

“If you put that amount of money in, you will want a say in terms of the manager and whether Steve Parkin’s had a say on Evans getting the job, I very much doubt so”, former Leeds attacker Blake told talkSPORT.

“But I’ve been given the assurance that it will be and since I walked in and he [Cellino] gave me his word on that it has been completely 100 percent like that”.

The Scot has lauded Sloth for his work ethic and professional attitude, while revealing now he has moved into Leeds he regularly sees the midfielder – and looking into Sloth’s eyes tells him the Dane is desperate for a chance.

Last week, Cellino walked away from a potential deal with supporters group Leeds Fans United.
