Prosecutors seek 12½ years for ex-Subway spokesman Fogle
Subway sicko Jared Fogle watched child porn with kids as young as 6-years-old, a few of them who he knew personally, according to court docs in his ongoing criminal case. They also recommend “a lifetime period of supervised release”.

In the court filings, attorneys say Fogle is profoundly sorry for what he has done and understands that he has medical issues he must address. Fogle’s lawyers also excused his crimes by claiming that the photos and videos in his possession were given to him by his associate Russell Taylor – who was also arrested – and that he never asked for “material involving prepubescent minors”.
In August, he entered a deal with prosecutors, in which he pleaded guilty to one count of travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography.
Fogle is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Tanya Walton Pratt on November 19 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and she has the discretion to sentence him to more or less than what the prosecution requests.
Taylor has separately agreed to plead guilty to child exploitation and child pornography charges.
In their argument for a five-year sentence, which is the minimum, Fogle’s attorneys argue “anyone with a television or access to the internet has witnessed and will continue to witness Mr. Fogle lose everything he has worked for over the last eighteen years and go to federal prison”.

As of Thursday, 11 of those victims had received their restitution and the three others should have arrangements in place to be paid by Fogle’s sentencing hearing, Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven DeBrota told The Associated Press.
