Amber Heard took on the role of stepmum earlier this year when she married Johnny Depp after three years of dating.

In the interview she did with Marie Claire, Heard admits that her romance with the 52-year-old star has not been easy especially with the negative rumors surrounding them. I feel new flavors in that I did not know existed.
Heard and Depp married in February 2015 at the actor’s home in the Bahamas.

But at least she’s putting them to rest! Although she admits it can sometimes be overwhelming to deal with her husband’s fame, she did share that she absolutely loves playing stepmom to his two children Lily-Rose, 16, and John “Jack” Christopher, 13.
“I try not to react to the terrible misrepresentation of our lives, but it is unusual, and hard”, Heard told Marie Claire.
Meanwhile, Amber also remarked about her step children, calling them the “greatest, most surprising gift”. “I’m so happy”, Heard said. Rumors have been swirling that Depp and Heard are having trouble adjusting to married life, their huge age difference has been a problem, and Heard’s upset that Depp’s spending too much time with his band.
‘I wish I didn’t have to pick between being seen as sexually viable and something more substantial, ‘ she lamented.
People magazine reported that Heard who is out and proud bisexual is also active in the fight for equality.
