Cristiano Ronaldo Believes Lionel Messi Will Win Ballon d’Or
The Real Madrid forward’s personal life has been in spotlight recently with the release of the “Ronaldo” documentary, in which his son Cristiano Jr features prominently.

Speaking on his show – to air on Saturday night – the current holder of the Golden Ball expressed that Messi’s all-conquering club season with Barcelona past year, plus the player’s individual form, will mean he gets the majority of the votes from the voters; comprised of national team coaches and captains, and selected journalists from around the world.
“No, no. It’s normal, it’s part of the business, it’s a process”, Ronaldo said on The Jonathan Ross Show. ‘He won the Champions League and La Liga.
‘We share this stage at Federation Internationale de Football Association for eight years. No-one has done that in the past – only us – so it’s good. So it’s good, I have a good relationship with him.
He admitted that the women in question are aware of each other, and added: “I need to figure out who is better”. And we have to respect and when I speak about him I feel so proud because he [taught] me many things and it’s great.
He has scored five goals in his last three games for Barcelona in all competitions and one of his two goals against Villarreal at the weekend was nothing short of exceptional.
“I still don’t understand him”.
Ronaldo has also revealed he barred his mother watching big games because she gets too nervous watching him play.
“I just have to say thank you for what [Ferguson] did for me, ” he said.

“For me it is not a problem”, he said. Cristiano has a dad, an unbelievable dad. “Probably maybe for you or for many people, I’m the best player but I still want to learn, I still want to work hard to dedicate myself all the time because you don’t achieve nothing without the work”.
