Amazon announces Black Friday deals for e-readers and tablets
Cut the queues in the Black Friday pandemonium and see what having a root around online may find you. “Over the last two years we’ve developed an organised, well-executed plan, but this year customers have told us loud and clear that they don’t want to be held hostage to a day or two of sales”. Anyway, Amazon and Argos have started dropping hints about what they’ll be doing, and there’s going to be a lot of deals indeed.

What’s the story behind Black Friday?
Yes! past year there were queues out the door at Tesco stores, hours before the event began.
Make sure you do your research online. Amazon promises more Black Friday deals on its devices, but doesn’t say exactly what those deals will be in. The Amazon Fire with 7-inch Display and Special Offers normally costs $49.99.
However, Asda have decided they won’t take part in Black Friday this year, instead offering deals from now until the New Year.
How can I prepare for Black Friday?
What can I expect from the retailers?
The Amazon Black Friday deals and savings starts on Sunday, November 22, the Sunday before Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
The company sent word of new Amazon Black Friday deals this morning to Gotta Be Mobile.
There will also be “Deals of the Day” on selected products during the entire week. These offers will be available to eligible addresses in London and Birmingham from 8am to midnight.
Amazon, Very.co.uk, A.O.com for example are all taking part in “lightening sales” so keep an eye out for the bargains that may save you a significant amount of money this Christmas.
“The most popular deals in 2014 included the Kindle Fire HDX 7” range with £100 off selected models, as well as the Dolce Gusto Mini Me Coffee Capsule Machine, Toy Story Ultimate Action Buzz Lightyear, diamond jewellery and men’s watches. It will come with a $179.99 price, which is what it now goes for on Amazon.
Amazon aren’t revealing which products will be discounted until closer to the launch date. In the meantime you can sign up for deals e-mails so you won’t miss any deals.
All offers are available for seven days in-store and online, and customers who need their items quickly can also use the newly launched fast-track delivery.
Argos continues to be the UK’s largest high street retailer online with around 121m customer transactions a year through its stores and over 900 million website and app visits in the 12 months to February 2015.
