WATCH: Jimmy Butler Gets 6000-Pound Boombox Aquarium

Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler demands the best for himself on the court and for his new collection of tropical fish at home.

The hosts were understandably flummoxed by the request. The massive tank also has 50 fish in it, a proper tribute to the Bulls’ upcoming 50th anniversary.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Butler contacted the guys from “Tanked” a show on the Animal Planet to make his tank which stands nine-feet tall and ten-feet wide and holds 600 gallons of water. The episode featuring the installation is scheduled to air Friday night.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound swingman prefers country music though. That’s exactly what Jimmy Butler did inside his River North mansion. John Wall received a “lighthouse aquarium” in the previous week’s episode, and Dwight Howard got a giant tank for all his snakes.

“[The fish] need a little country music”, Butler said. “If you’re going to be a part of my household, you gotta like country music”, Butler said.

When you sign a five-year deal worth around $95 million, you tend to have a few fun with your new paychecks. With spectacular species of fish and a top-of-the-line sound system, Butler suddenly has one of the coolest entertainment systems in the world.

At first, Butler was a bit ambiguous about his appearance on the show but relented and joked around after Bulls practice.
