Curry’s 46 points helps Warriors start season 10-0
Curry and Green wouldn’t let the season-opening streak die, though, and they combined to shoot 6 for 8 from the field in the fourth while Minnesota struggled to pick between trapping the point guard or hoping his shots would miss.

Stephen Curry scored 28 points and Andre Iguodala added 20 as the Golden State Warriors matched a franchise record for most wins to start a season with a 100-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
Curry was nothing short of spectacular yet again as he lit up the scoreboard, something we have become so accustomed to this season. He’s averaging 33.9 points, six assists and five rebounds per game for the Golden State Warriors while shooting 55 percent.
Curry finished with 46 points as he shot 15-of-25 from the field, 8-of-13 from beyond the arc and 8-of-8 from the line. This is the third game Curry has topped the 40-point plateau and also the game he has knocked down eight triples.
Golden State got off to a sterling start, scoring the first 10 points of the game in less than two minutes.
That would be Draymond Green, who starts at power forward but purposefully defies the limitations of any single position.
Minnesota gave up 46 points to reigning National Basketball Association MVP Stephen Curry in a 129-116 loss to the Warriors, a decision that didn’t necessarily help make Mitchell’s case stronger. Zach LaVine got Minnesota (4-4) on the board with a reverse layup at the 10:02 mark. He has topped 40 points in a game three times this season and his 52 3s are more than three teams have made all year.
The Wolves bench was able to hang with the Warriors for much of the second quarter. “To get down a deficit like we did, to roar back and be so close…” Without Rubio, the chances of beating the best team in the league went from doubtful to basically unimaginable, although the Wolves deserve credit for fighting hard down the stretch and not hanging their heads when the Warriors were firing on all cylinders.
Curry is on-pace for a career year.
Curry has led the charge, shooting with a precision and range never before seen in this league. The 21-points he put up in the first quarter is the fourth time he has tallied 20-points in a quarter according to ESPN.

If Curry continues to have season’s like he did in 2013-2014-which is looking likely given the way he is now playing-I think he will be a future Hall of Famer and will definitely be considered one of the best to ever play the game. Klay Thompson had an off-night, going 3/9 from deep for his 15 points while Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli had 14 and 10 points respectively. Rookie center Karl-Anthony Towns posted his fifth double-double in seven games but the rest of the young roster had difficulty compensating for injures to point guard Ricky Rubio (knee) and Andrew Wiggins (knee). Towns recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds against those physical matchups.
