Windows 10 Update Aimed at Business Users
A few new features that might interest business users include tab previews in Edge and inking in Cortana, the new Business Store and more elements in Windows Update for Business.

Microsoft this week posted links to disk image files in.iso format for Windows 10’s first upgrade, giving users a way to install the latest version of the OS without waiting for the company to push the code via Windows Update. To spur development, Microsoft released SDKs for a couple of its Bridge projects, including an Web App and Android port. However, Build and the release of the SDKs, Microsoft has been a little mum on Bridges.
Speaking of Edge, the update to Windows 10 improves its performance and overall security with a tab preview, allowing users to hover over open tabs to get a quick preview of the content on those websites without leaving the page they’re now on. The next month or so is anticipated as the release date for Windows 10 Mobile, the version for Windows Phones and small ARM-based and Intel -based tablets. In fact, the project is not even openly discussed inside Microsoft, which is another sign that it could be canceled.
The folks over at WindowsCentral highlights more evidence that Project Astoria might be on hold indefinitely. Eager developers in the forums have since stopped asking questions, and Microsoft has likewise stopped answering on the topic.
With a disk image, users can create installation media – such as a flash drive or DVD – for one-off or multiple-device migrations to Windows 10, or to reinstall the operating system over a corrupted copy. The iOS port will still ensure the opportunity for a large surge of mobile apps to Windows 10 Mobile, and Westminister’s ability to convert web apps to mobile apps is intriguing. Sources at Windows Central are also pointing to a moratorium on discussions dealing with Project Astoria.

For example, the latest Windows 10 Mobile builds have had the Android subsystem removed, and Microsoft is no longer communicating anything related to the project. The reason cited for the removal at that time was due to system-wide slowdowns. About 110 million devices are running Windows 10, 12 million of which are business PCs.
