“India is full of diversity. This diversity is our pride and our strength”, Modi said as a frenzied crowd of 60,000 British Indians chanted “Modi, Modi” at the iconic Wembley Stadium here.

“Kabir and Rahim have been our inspirations”.
The event comes after the Indian PM had lunch with the Queen at Buckingham Palace and attended further meetings with business leaders as part of a trade drive.
“There is no reason for India to remain a poor country”.
“It has to reach remote areas”, the Prime Minister said. He said there are countless such people in India.
“We want to forge a more ambitious, modern partnership, harnessing our strengths and working together for the long term to help shape our fortunes at home and overseas in the 21st century”, he said.
Modi swept to power in 2014 on promises to develop India’s economy and root out the corruption and incompetence that had crippled the previous government.
Cameron also assured his country’s support to Prime Minister Modi in fulfilling his big plans so that it turns into a reality.
“We have merged OCI and PIO (Person of Indian Origin). This too has been simplified”.
Prime Minister Modi also mentioned Rupee bonds being issued by the Indian Railways at the London Stock Exchange.

The Times report began, “Britain will continue to pursue stronger ties with India despite Narendra Modi’s record on human rights, David Cameron insisted”.
He also backed India’s claim for permanent membership in the UN Security Council.
However, instead of saying ‘Acche Din Aanewale hai’ (Good days are about to come), Cameron made a slight variation. It was obviously in keeping with Modi’s “Make in India” initiative. This includes Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor of “Baby Doll” fame, pop star Jay Sean, and members of the Royal Ballet and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
There are a total of 90,000 seats at the Wembley Stadium.
Modi thanked people for “outpouring their affections” and said India will not judge its diaspora by the colour of their passport.
Britain is already the largest investor in India among G20 countrie while India invests more in the United Kingdom than it does in the rest of the European Union combined.
