A reported survivor of one of several devastating attacks that rocked Paris on Friday night says that his phone saved his life.

That’s the view of a man called Sylvestre who has told iTele he was outside the Stade de France when the blasts occurred.

He was pictured moments after the attacks in Paris still holding onto his Samsung phone which had a smashed screen and huge dent in one side. “It’s what saved me, otherwise my head would have been blown to bits”.

Sylvestre was also shot in the foot and a bullet brushed his torso.

He also said a bullet had grazed his ribcage, pointing to his torso. He believed his thick jacket may have absorbed a few of the impact of that bullet.

While three others were killed in two suicide bombings in the Stade de France, where the national football team had been playing Germany. “I wouldn’t wish it on anyone”.
