Marshawn Lynch gives McDonald’s employee $500 to go buy a few sneakers

Famously quiet (at least to the media) Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has reportedly helped out a McDonald’s employee with encouragement – and a little cash. Carroll said Lynch felt something in his abdomen at the end of practice on Thursday but didn’t think it was anything serious.

Nearly exactly a year ago, the Seattle Seahawks running back found a wallet at a local gas station and managed to track down its rightful owner.

Before Friday, it had looked like the Seahawks would enter Sunday night’s game at almost full strength. Thus far this season, Rawls has started three games, two with Lynch out of the lineup and once when Lynch tried to give it a go.

Richardson tore his ACL in the divisional round of the playoffs last season and started practicing the week before the Dallas game.

If he is limited in any way Sunday, undrafted rookie Thomas Rawls would get a larger role. But Okung is on pace to return from sitting out one game. Lane said he had a good week of practice but had been limited each day and did not anticipate being active Sunday.

Lynch, 29, has officially been listed as questionable for Seattle’s crucial NFC West showdown against the Arizona Cardinals, per Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk.

Another new name on the injury list was reserve DL David King, said to be doubtful with a groin strain.
