Alabama running back Derrick Henry has had an outstanding season – especially against quality competition.

Obviously, Alabama has tremendous momentum heading into its final two games.
This week, Alabama will be challenged again with Mississippi State, and Florida faces SC in Columbia.

The Bulldogs ask a ton from Prescott, who has established himself as the greatest player in school history. I think this will be another close game for the Tide, but they escape with a win in a low scoring game. However, the kick came up short, preserving the scoreless tie.
There’s no way to sugarcoat it: When Mississippi State and Alabama meet on the gridiron, Alabama wins. Alabama has won seven consecutive in the series, including the past three at Starkville, Miss. The Tide entered Saturday in the top 10 nationally in that category, and they could be as high as second exiting the weekend. The Bulldogs visit turned Tuscaloosa to the epicenter of college football. But with Brandon Allen peaking at the right time, it wouldn’t be a huge shock to me if Arkansas found a way to win this game. “It’s football.” Saban would sacrifice an injury every time for his line to play this well. He had touchdown runs of 75 and 65 yards, while showing speed that is completely unfair for a man who is the size of a defensive lineman.
In 14 games, the Tide had only 31 sacks.
There was nothing fancy about the second one. “Every touchdown was a big play”. If Mississippi State wants to capitalize on that, it starts with Prescott. They have allowed just one passer to go over 200 yards in that stretch while their defense as a whole has given up 77 points in six games. While Prescott’s rushing numbers are almost half of what he finished with past year he’s still the same threat to gain large chunks of yards and build momentum for an otherwise average offense. Henry has rushed over 1,250 yards this season and has scored 17 touchdowns.
Mississippi State uses the same personnel on offense 95-percent of the time so it’s hard to rotate guys in and out. For a majority of the snaps, Mississippi State played as Alabama’s equal. Mississippi State is 49/121 on third and fourth down conversions and opponents are 54/158.
Stat of the game: It wasn’t a flawless effort from Alabama offensively. Up 14-13 late fourth quarter but couldn’t hold on. More of them will give Henry even larger lanes to run through if the trend is able to continue for Coker. After an incompletion on third-and-5 from the 16, Griffith came on for a 32-yard field goal try, but it was blocked by State’s Tolando Clevelan. It appeared Henry would be pushed out of bounds there, but he accelerated past a defender, sprinting down the sideline for a 65-yard touchdown run. He returned the ball 29 yards down to the Bulldogs 24.

Sophomore Cooper Bateman took over at quarterback for Alabama when the offense took the field. He was replaced by freshman Damien Harris…. We will also stay away from Missouri’s game with BYU.
