Stephen Curry just won’t stop scoring and can’t be stopped putting up the points.

FanSided Daily brings you the hottest content on your favorite teams. And now, it looks like the appeal of the defending league MVP is going global. This was Curry’s 4th 20-point quarter performance for this season and the third time this season he had made at least eight three-point shots.
“Anytime you can do something that hasn’t been done in franchise history, it’s huge”, Curry said. I thought we believed we could win.
There was no “championship hangover” and the point guard just went on to “grab the title without anyone noticing”. The Warriors scored the first 10 points and jumped out to a 13-2 lead.
It was primarily the Wolves second unit once again that was able to keep the game from getting out of control as they went on a 12-0 run to end the third. He’s always in an attack mode.
Ranging from blowout games to narrow wins, the Warriors are definitely playing at a hugely competitive level under their new, albeit temporary, leadership. Curry re-entered the game with Golden State leading 109-101 and promptly sank his seventh three-pointer of the contest. The Warriors then raced to a 17-point lead. It was good to see Muhammad, Gorgui Dieng, and even Andre Miller perform well off the bench.
Before the game, Minnesota clarified that (Ricky) Rubio’s injury was actually a “mild left hamstring strain”. It was a 12-point game at halftime.
Curry is shooting 60 percent from 2-point range, which makes sense given how consistently he blows by off-balance defenders. But the first splash was special. The 39-year-old pressured Steph Curry to half court, forced him to take a long, covered triple, and even knocked the ball from his hands on the way up. But Curry never lost concentration, did not lose stride and the ball swished through the net. It’s actually the other way around: the Warriors have an efficient system because of Curry’s shooting. But Minnesota proved to be an exception. As a team, Golden State shot 60.0 percent (15-of-25) from the field though Minnesota wasn’t much worse at 52.2 percent (12-of-23). “To get down a deficit like we did, to roar back and be so close…” Draymond Green added a 3-pointer.
Minnesota had 7 players finish in double figures. Green had 23 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points for the Knicks.
Curry finished with 46 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Green, Festus Ezeli and Andrew Bogut battled foul trouble.
Curry graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina and led his team to face the number-one ranked Kansas in the 2008 midwest regional finals, in which Kansas held on by a mere two points. Totals 48-89 15-16 129. They were 18-of-38 from beyond the arc. The big story in the National Basketball Association this season is Curry and his start to the season. Per Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, Leandro Barbosa was not with the team for personal reasons.

Timberwolves immediately responded with a 14-0 run and later cut the Warriors’ lead to five points. The star center missed the game with a bruised right hip sustained Tuesday against Dallas in the Pelicans’ first win of the season.
