If he only cared about scoring, how many points could LeBron James average in a season? He already holds the record for being the youngest ever player for every points milestones from 1000 to 24000. In truth, he surpassed it a few years ago when factoring in his postseason numbers, but National Basketball Association records are based exclusively on the regular season.
