Army Takes Football Field Carrying French Flag
Prior to their game against Tulane on Saturday, the Army football team paid tribute to the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks with a simple message.

ABOUT TULANE (2-7): Sophomore running back Dontrell Hilliard leads the team in rushing yards (424), carries (80), touchdowns (six) and yards per carry (5.3).
Facing their third triple-option opponent of the season, Tulane found themselves in a hole early on as the Black Knights opened the contest with a three-yard touchdown rush by Ahmad Bradshaw to close out a 13-play, 75-yard drive.
The Black Knights then successfully faked the PAT, but had the conversion called back on a penalty.
Tulane took a 10-9-1 lead in the all-time series.
Starting at their own 20, the Wildcats drove down the field in 18 plays, using 7:46 of the clock.
CLOSE ENCOUNTERS: Army is allowing 27.6 points per game and has lost four games by a touchdown or less. The Green Wave have scored just 47 points in losing five straight while the Black Knights have dropped two straight and four of five in cementing their fifth consecutive losing season.
DEFENSIVE STAND: Against UConn, Tulane S Darion Monroe had a game-high 11 tackles, LB Nico Marley added 10 stops, and the defensive line produced five tackles behind the line while holding the Huskies to a season-low 227 yards. LSU does the same later in the evening before playing Arkansas. While nobody else has gone to that extent to show their support, it has been great to see the sports world taking time to show solidarity with those who were affected by the tragedy, even if it’s with something as simple as a moment of silence before their game starts.
The score was tied at 7 with 3:51 left in the first quarter when the Bearkats scored 28 straight points for a 35-7 advantage late in the second quarter.
