Following the Paris terrorist attacks, leaving over 100 dead and closure of France’s borders, entertainment entities have been struggling as how they could proceed with programming plans. According to Variety reports, on Friday afternoon, networks were hustled to alter schedules and consider preemptions. NBC canceled its live taping of the comedy Undateable. Instead, they “fully resolved to go ahead with this show at an appropriate time”, according to the network’s statement.

A Paris webcast of an all-star marathon event about climate change was suspended after the deadly attacks in that city Friday night.

The November 13-14 broadcast is a partnership between the Climate Reality Project and Live Earth, created to “include an unprecedented artistic lineup and distribution platform to maximise its global reach”, organisers said. U2 is hoping and praying that all of their fans in Paris were safe.
