The former president did not respond to questions about Hillary Clinton’s assertion that one of the reasons she has received millions of dollars in donations from Wall Street is because she “represented NY on 9/11 when we were attacked”. Bernie Sanders, Clinton’s top rival for the nomination, during Saturday night’s debate.
Secretary Clinton gets to respond. “She worked-and many of us supported you-in trying to rebuild that devastation”. “The fact of the matter is – and let’s say it in our debate, because you’ll never hear this from that immigration-bashing carnival barker, Donald Trump – the truth of the matter is net immigration from Mexico past year was zero”.
