After playing in London, teams are graced with a bye as trying to re-acclimate to the timezones and such can be exceedingly hard. I might be the only one who will put it in print, but I believe the Chiefs get their second win against Peyton in a close one. They’ll make the trip to Denver to face off against the Broncos. Davis saw limited action in his first week with the Broncos, but his work load likely increases down the final stretch of the regular season. And while a large part of that has to do with a dominant defense, the old man can still get it done behind center _ which the Chiefs learned in their crushing 31-24 loss in Week 2. The Chiefs are only one game out of the sixth seed, trailing the Buffalo Bills, who they play at Arrowhead Stadium in two weeks. And really, I won’t even pay attention for the rest of the season if they lose this one, so why not predict a win?

Quarterback Johnny Manziel started a second consecutive game for the Browns because starter Josh McCown was inactive with a rib injury.
It’s an incredible accomplishment for Manning, particularly considering the uncertainty that arose surrounding his neck injury in 2011.
Manning struggled so mightily against the Chiefs on Sunday, it would make any quarterback wince. He was just five-of-20 for 35 yards in the game. This is something that Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders [if he’s healthy] will be able to take advantage of. They give up 255.9 passing yards per game, ranking 23rd in the league; however, the Chiefs are one of the better teams against the run, giving up just over 100 yards per game.
The Chiefs won’t turn the ball over five times.
Charcandrick West ran for a touchdown and caught an 80-yard scoring pass from Alex Smith, helping the Chiefs (4-5) snap a seven-game losing streak to the Broncos (7-2). There were only a combined total of 613 offensive yards in that matchup (KC 314, Denver 299). His first pass attempt was intercepted and he was sacked – and fumbled – the second time he dropped back to throw. They are a little friendlier against the run at home, allowing 4.2 yards per carry. He understands. He is the most cerebral quarterback to play the game.

The stats also say Manning had no business playing in an National Football League game Sunday. It’s also understandable why Kubiak let his future Hall of Famer try to grit it out rather than play Brock Osweiler, who threw for 146 yards and a touchdown in relief.
Las Vegas now predicts the Broncos to win by 5, with a 41.5 point over/under.

I realize that nearly everyone is going to pick the Broncos to win, however I have a feeling the Chiefs are going to surprise a lot of people.
