There’s A Heartwarming Story Behind Cam Newton’s Touchdown Ball From Sunday’s Game
His dad promised to take him to a Panthers game, but after the unexpected happened, friends of the family gave Colin’s family tickets to the Panthers, Green Bay match.

The Panthers would go on to win, 37-29, extending the team’s win record to 8-0.
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 9 of the National Football League season.
Newton apparently was just as disgusted seeing an enemy sign in his house.
Dobs, who is a Wisconsin native, says he had special permission from Panthers personnel at the stadium to hold up the banner.
I don’t think the Carolina Panthers should reimburse them for their sign after the racial comments made about Cam Newton. “Either somebody was going to take it off, or I take it off”.
“Those are things that you can’t teach, those are things you gotta just experience for yourself”, said Ron Rivera, Panthers head coach. “You’re not about to sell a (Burger King) “Whopper” in a McDonalds”. “Instead he ripped the banner out of our hands”.
As a result, the fan says he’s now getting angry messages, even death threats, from reporting the theft.
PACKERS RUNNING GAME: It’s pretty obvious now that the Packers are losing faith in running back Eddie Lacy – and with good reason. He was told that Newton destroyed the banner in the locker room. “I paid for you, and you steal my property and disrespect (me)… and then you try to spin the story in many different ways”.
Bill Toler said the moment will leave a lasting impression.
Newton didn’t shy away from commenting on the incident.
Dobs’ banner had a green map of North Carolina with the Green Bay logo in the middle and the words “North Carolina Cheesehead”, referring to the nickname Green Bay fans give themselves. He said a Panthers employee told him the organization would make it up to him.
The website also answered several questions about the policy review. “The reality is that we continue to see very few banners on game day and don’t feel that policy changes would in any way impact the atmosphere at our home games”.

Q: Was the banner in question returned or replaced?
