Philip Rivers calls Chargers losing streak ‘sickening’

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been bright spot for the team this season, and on Wednesday, Cutler drew praise from St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher. It was the first time in six games he did not throw for at least 300 yards. It was all apart of his 27-of-40, 354 yard throwing performance with a pair of touchdown tosses.

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler threw two touchdown passes as part of his 345 yards at Qualcomm Stadium on Monday. This is a team that won’t be doing anything great this year, but in addition to whomever they get in the upcoming draft, they also get WR Kevin White for the first time next year. “We have talked about it. We’ve won games in the fourth quarter, we’ve lost in the fourth quarter”. “It’s usually kind of fun to watch football if you have a winning record and you’re rolling”.

He wasn’t the only one who did. While the Rams may win this game, this is too many points for me to pass up between two teams that have been so up-and-down this season.

“Yeah, I’ll get ripped”, Ryan said, acknowledging a few might criticize his motives. “I really didn’t have time to go with two [hands]”.

Surprisingly, it sent numerous 68,033 fans home happy. If the Bears were going to win, the defense had to stop one of the most potent offenses in the National Football League, one that on its first drive of the game made it look easy with an eight-play, 63-yard drive for a touchdown. Exactly. Herndon is a relative unknown who played his college ball at Arkansas, but his presence on the field late in the fourth quarter highlights where San Diego was at with its depth chart.

Cutler had been tied with Hall of Famer Sid Luckman with 137 with the Bears.

The Chargers suffered even more injuries. “Our first couple games off the bye, we didn’t finish”.

As for Cutler, he showed his ability to rally his team once again.

“We’ve been seeing this as coaches for most of the season”. Going into that game, the Bears have to figure they have to stop rookie running back Todd Gurley, who has rushed for 655 yards in the last five games. Chargers DT Corey Liuget (foot) wasn’t able to play after getting hurt last week…. Te’o missed three games in his rookie year and six outings last year.

However, Chicago retreated 5 yards on an offside penalty, then linebacker Melvin Ingram sacked Cutler and forced a fumble, which was recovered by safety Eric Weddle.

“We kept taking points off the board, ” Cutler said. “He gives us everything he has every day at practice”. We ask him to do a lot of the dirty work and he does it without complaining. Rams quarterback Nick Foles is not much of a threat through the air, so the key to beating them is to limit Gurley on the ground and keep him from breaking any big plays.
