Minnesota Vikings fans got a few good news today, as it was announced that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is expected to start against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. He will be fined and will be on NFL’s hot list once he crosses the line once more. If the Bears can win their last four games, they’re in, plain and simple. Oakland ranks seventh in the National Football League in scoring offense with 26.6 points per game and ranks sixth in total offense with 374.6 yards per game. That’s not been a problem for the Vikings, because “Teddy Throwsevelt” is helping lead them to victories. And sometimes we’re not making the correct reads or the correct throws.

Bridgewater was a full participant in practice Friday, and though he still needed to be cleared through the final step of the NFL’s concussion protocol, coach Mike Zimmer said he had “no doubts” Bridgewater would play. Entering this contest the Vikes sport the 6th best pass defense. The Raiders are allowing 4.1 yards per carry, which isn’t special, and they allowed Williams to carry the ball 27 times for 170 yards and two touchdowns against them just last week.
Fisher wants Joyner to keep playing the way he’s been playing, and Joyner plans to do just that. Teams have found success passing against the Raiders’ porous secondary, and that’s an area Bridgewater needs to exploit. “Having Adrian is a big bonus for our offensive team, but it does make at times the quarterback position a little more hard because you don’t get as many chances”, Turner said. But I do have belief that when we get behind in games, he doesn’t play that way.
