Aaron Rodgers Scolds Fan’s Islamophobic Heckle Made During Moment Of Silence

Rodgers at times appeared to be begging for calls from the officials, especially in the early stages of the Packers’ shocking and historic 18-16 loss to the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field. It has been a bit of everything between December of 1991 when the Detroit Lions last beat the Green Bay Packers on the road and now, but that streak is over. Matt Prater, who hasn’t missed a field goal all year, missed two extra points, which kept the game precariously in doubt. Two plays later, Rodgers threw to Richard Rodgers for a touchdown that cut the Lions’ lead to 12-10 with 5:55 to play in the fourth quarter. James Starks didn’t take any pressure off by rushing for 42 yards on 15 carries. Rodgers found Abbrederis three times on a touchdown drive late in the game to keep the Packers close to the Lions.

He was 24 of 38 for 242 yards, a pair of touchdowns and an interception.

Today’s game is the Lions first since a 45-10 landslide loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in London two weeks ago.

The team’s leading receiver had four catches for 53 yards before the injury, which was announced with no indication of when Edelman got hurt. The Minnesota Vikings are in first place in the NFC North. The Packers face a really interesting game at Minnesota next week, and they’re playing as bad as they have played in a while.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says that he heard a fan make a “prejudicial” comment during a pre-game moment of silence for victims of the Paris attacks.

Protection was spotty. Rodgers made a few uncharacteristically shaky throws. A slant to Perillo gained 12 with a minute to play and the Packers holding two timeouts.

“The guy that made the play to help us win the game barely made it on time for the flipping plane ride”, quarterback Matthew Stafford said.

No one in a billion years saw it coming, but the Lions shocked the sports world on Sunday afternoon by beating the Packers by a score of 18-16 on the road.

Ultimately, though, it was Green Bay’s inability to score that proved to be the difference.

Kirk Cousins threw a career-high four touchdown passes as the Chicago Bears (4-5) routed the New Orleans Saints (4-6) 47-14.

Aaron Rodgers was upset by incidents on and off the field on Sunday.

Don’t get too excited, but they have a chance to make a little noise. Randall Cobb had yet another quiet day. “I lost us the game with the play down in the end zone, a play that should have been made”. But for one moment, the Lions had the weight of the world off their shoulders.

Thankfully for the LIons, the Packers missed the two point conversion. “I think we’re in that right now”. The Dallas Cowboys somehow blew another game without Tony Romo that it should have won, and 2-7 will be about impossible to come back from. “It’s the first one in this quarter (of the season), against a division foe that’s been outstanding within this league”. A short run by Bell took the clock down to the two-minute warning.

Because of the missed extra points, Green Bay had a chance to force overtime with a two-point conversion, but Crezdon Butler broke up Rodgers’ pass to Davante Adams.

NOTES: RB Eddie Lacy, who had been replaced as the primary running back at the start of the week, was inactive. Lions RB Ameer Abdullah’s 104-yard kickoff return was the team’s longest since Stefan Logan’s 105-yard touchdown in 2010.

The hobbled Pittsburgh quarterback entered Sunday’s game against Cleveland in the first quarter when backup Landry Jones left the game with a left ankle injury.
