Rumours linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to the Premier League have been gathering pace of late, with Chelsea and former club Manchester United both said to be chasing the star.
Seeing the four-time World Player of the Year victor don any other shirt than Barcelona’s would be odd, yet it appears Messi has fallen out of love with the nation he’s called home since a child.
Messi, 28, has apparently become frustrated with the Spanish tax authorities – and he’s now interested in making a transfer to England. The only slight issue would be that Messi would look to earn £600,000 a week… right.
Adriano is hopeful that his Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi will be fit to face Real Madrid in El Clasico next week, as per NBC Sports.
The 28-year-old would apparently favour a move to London, with Arsenal his preferred destination, but his wage demands could price him out of the budgets of even Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
According to the British tabloid, the Argentine is fed up at the Nou Camp and is ready to test his skills in pastures new.
