Boats Out On The Streets As Heavy Rain Pounds Chennai
And this is not the end of woes for Chennai residents as the Met department has predicted more rains in the Tamil Nadu capital and other coastal areas on Monday. Schools and colleges were closed in as many as 15 of the total 32 districts in Tamil Nadu. Chennai received three cm rainfall between 8:30 am and 11:30 am on Sunday.
