Donald Trump Compares Ben Carson to a Child Molester

Recent focus groups of Trump supporters in Iowa and New Hampshire commissioned by rival campaigns revealed no silver bullet.

“People are really perplexed by his comments”, said Jeff Jorgensen, chairman of the Pottawatomie County Republicans in Iowa.

Instead, Trump absurdly suggests that a man who has spent decades performing complex, marathon neurosurgeries on infants and children at Johns Hopkins might snap as president, implying that Dr. Carson’s violent Detroit youth might lead him to push the nuclear button in a rage.

“That whole rant in Iowa is the reason that we should not have a reality show star as President of the United States”, Sununu said on CNN’s “New Day” Friday.

“Now that he’s completed his gratuitous attack, why don’t we press on and deal with the real issues”, Carson told reporters in SC before they could ask questions.

As a backlash built Friday, a few observers said Trump may have finally gone too far, hurting his standing at the top of most polls and also adding to worries among Republicans about their field this season.

Political pundits and despairing Republican Party leaders have been waiting for Donald Trump to implode and fall from the high position he has enjoyed among Republican voters. He talked about how everyone else is wrong on illegal immigration and how even the “geniuses at Harvard” have now backed his way of thinking.

Even before the speech, he said, he’d been hearing from voters who like Trump, but want him to offer more detailed policy plans.

“At first, the audience was quick to laugh at Trump’s sharp insults and applaud his calls to better care for veterans, replace the Affordable Care Act and construct a wall along the Mexican border”.

There he was on an Iowa stage for 95 minutes, swearing, threatening and degradingly scathing Ben Carson, the rival whose popularity baffles Trump in light of Trump’s certified greatness. If you’re a child molester, a sick puppy, there is no cure for that. You don’t cure these people. In the interview, he essentially compared Carson to a child molester, a claim that despite there being no evidence to back up, he repeated in Davenport.

“He said that he’s pathological and he said he’s basically got pathological disease”.

Carson has recently blasted the media for questioning his personal story, which Carson chronicled in his book “Gifted Hands”.

“It hit the belt, and the knife broke”, Trump said, after pulling out an imaginary knife and thrusting it toward the audience.

Carson’s ability to overcome his anger as well as an impoverished childhood to become a world-renowned neurosurgeon has been a central chapter in his personal story. Carson followed at 18 percent.

Political pundits say a rambling Thursday night speech could mark the beginning of the end for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Why would a candidate volunteer that he tried to knife someone and nearly hit his mother in the head with a hammer?

“During those hours alone in the bathroom, something happened to me”, he wrote. “God heard my deep cries of anguish”.
