Israeli cops wearing fake beards, dressed as women raid hospital

The execution of a man at a hospital in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron early Thursday has generated shock even among Palestinians familiar with Israel’s brutality.

The Israeli military confirmed the raid and capturing and stated it was carried out to detain Azzam al-Shalalda, 22, over a knife assault on an Israeli settler two weeks in the past within the West Bank.

Heavily bearded Israeli commandos, including one disguised as a pregnant woman in a wheelchair, entered a hospital in an early morning raid.

Medical sources told Palestinian news site Maan that 23-year-old university student Hassan Jihad Albu was killed by a bullet straight to the chest, which penetrated his heart and killed him instantly. The other person was lying on the floor in his own blood.

The Shin Bet said its agents had arrested Azzam.

Israeli forces have sparked outrage after disguising themselves as locals and killing a Palestinian man during a raid at a West Bank hospital.

The military says that over the past month, Palestinians have carried out dozens of attacks in Hebron alone, including more than 20 stabbings, multiple assaults with cars and other vehicles and several shooting attacks.

Israeli media identified the victims as Yaacov Litman, 40, and 18-year-old Natanel.

The forces handcuffed Shalaldeh and one of his brothers who was in the room, then shot and killed another brother, 27-year-old Abdallah, as he emerged from a bathroom, Shawar said. Lafi Yusif Awad was fatally injured with gunfire to the abdomen, in the Ramallah-area village of Budrus. Police have entered a hospital in Jerusalem to extract files about patients involved in rock-throwing.

A large majority of British Jews feel uncomfortable with a few Israeli policies, believing they harm the country’s reputation overseas.

Shalaldeh was being treated at the hospital for gunshot wounds, which the military said were sustained when the Israeli he stabbed last month shot him.

The Gaza Strip is also included in the new labelling guidelines, but Israel allows the coastal enclave to export just a token handful of goods.

“Their goal is to destroy Israel”, said Tzipi Schlissel, who along with her 11 children are among the 75 Israeli families who live in Hebron. Three Palestinians were detained during the searches, he said, adding that reinforcements had arrived for Israeli forces stationed in the area.

The gunfire fatally wounded the father and his son, who managed to telephone emergency services and alert them. “Israeli forces must immediately cease their use of intentional lethal force against people who are not posing an imminent threat to life”.

Security camera footage of a deadly Israeli arrest raid in a West Bank hospital on Thursday gave a rare glimpse into the murky undercover units that Israel contends are a key tool in preventing violence and Palestinians revile as a ruthless symbol of Israeli occupation.
