Trump likens Carson to child molester

“Well you know a couple of months ago I said something which he took as an attack on his faith and I apologized for that”, Carson said. “If you’re a child molester, there’s no cure for that”.

“That’s a big problem because you don’t cure that”, Trump said. “We’re about to step into the holiday time accelerator”, he added, “You have Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, then Iowa and a week later, New Hampshire, and it’s going to be over in the blink of an eye”.

“How stupid are the people of Iowa?” he thundered to about 1,500 Iowans.

Trump made a similar comment in October after a gunman, identified as Chris Harper Mercer, opened fire inside a classroom at the Umpqua Community College near Roseburg, OR and killed nine people and injured seven others.

He said about the Islamic State terrorist group in Syria and Iraq: “I would bomb the s– out of them”.

Carson said Trump’s broadside is “expected” in politics, but he decried “the politics of personal destruction”.

People have been waiting for Trump to cross a line. A few thought it would be his attacks on John McCain.

According to Williams, Trump “cannot fathom” how someone would do better than him in the GOP presidential polls, and now he is “imploding”. Trump yelled, flipping over his buckle several times. “I’m very anxious that the Republican-base voter is more motivated by anger, distrust of D.C. and politicians and will throw away the opportunity to nominate a candidate with proven experience that can win”.

Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann dismissed Trump’s statement about voters as “ridiculous”.

“Now, that he’s completed his gratuitous attacks, why don’t we press on and deal with the issues”, Carson told reporters before he took part in a town-hall forum with U.S. Sen.

His hardest hitting attacks were directed toward Carson.

“When I spoke with Dr. Carson about this (Thursday) how we should respond, you know he was so sad about it. He said: “Pray for him”. It was not specified what Carson’s prayer would be for Trump, but I have a hunch this is the music he will be playing at the prayer service. Trump’s Iowa speech was political theater at its most riveting, and performance art at its most entertaining, it was truly a masterpiece.

Republican candidate Lindsey Graham called Carson a “good, decent man”, and said of Trump: “I think he melted down last night”. I don’t need them anymore. It would have been over. If someone was able to do significant damage to them, there’s no telling to whom their supporters would turn, if anyone. “And that’s who’s in second place”.

“Folks, there is a line we should not cross”, he said. Trump said, “It would’ve been a much, much different situation”. And more than anyone in the race, he speaks openly.

With his comments going viral within minutes, the Democrats used the opportunity to challenge the GOP to stand up to the real estate mogul who they labeled a “school yard bully”.

In Trump world, everyone is stupid except Trump. Trump’s Thursday evening rant has the potential to become his “Dean scream” moment.
