The CW’s little corner of the DC universe is getting a whole lot bigger in a few weeks, and now we have some fresh intel on the latest crossover between Arrow and The Flash.

“Legends of Tomorrow” pilot episode is expected to air by January next year and it will be divided into two parts.

The first, Flash-centric episode of the crossover event, titled “Legends of Today” will air on Tuesday, December 1st. After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how unsafe Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal.

The cast of “Legends of Tomorrow” will include a few new and familiar faces with the likes of Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer aka The Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance aka White Canary, Falk Hentschel as Carter Hall aka Hawkman, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter. Per the official Flash episode synopsis, Harrison develops a serum to help Barry run faster, and asks Jay to test it out.

Both of these episodes, respectively titled “Legends of Today” and “Legends of Yesterday” will set up the spinoff show “Legends of Tomorrow”, which will feature Vandal Savage as the major villain of that series. Malcolm arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Team Arrow and Team Flash get together to create a weapon against Vandal.

Another explosive crossover between “Arrow” and “The Flash” is about to happen again! “[Iris] is not involved at all in the crossovers that we have explored thus far”, reported VC Post. “Nine people with either powers or super-suits”. What are you most excited about in this year’s “Flarrow” episodes? If you’re only going to watch one-half of the two-part extravaganza, you might want to rethink that plan.

Klemmer believed that if the idea works it could be one of the coolest things because viewers have not seen this anywhere else on TV and, in a way, it enriches the world of all of the shows. “So I was hoping that we could to have a few stuff, just ’cause I haven’t seen him in a long time and it could be really amusing”.
