Israel razes homes of four Palestinian ‘attackers’
Abdallah Shalaldeh was shot as the Israeli force, disguised as Palestinians – including one masquerading as a wheelchair-bound woman – snatched his cousin Azzam Shalaldeh from his hospital bed.

Emanuel Gross, an expert on military law at the University of Haifa, said “there is no prohibition” under global law from entering a hospital to arrest a suspect.
The soldiers wore traditional Arab outfits and one impersonated a pregnant woman while others wore fake beards.
“During his escape, the assailant was shot and injured by his victim”, the military said.
The Palestinian death toll since the beginning of October has climbed to 86, including 18 children, while 14 Israelis have been killed in stabbing and running-over attacks carried out by Palestinians.
Also Friday, two Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli troops, one near Hebron and the other in the city of Ramallah, Palestinian officials said.
Israel Defense Forces troops surrounded the nearby Palestinian town of Yatta and are searching for suspects.
Demolition orders against several other homes of alleged attackers are still being contested in the Israeli courts.
“It should be emphasized that the security system will not allow the existence of places of refuge for terror activists wherever they are”, Shin Beit said in its statement.
A cousin, Abdallah, who was in the bathroom, was shot dead when he suddenly re-entered the room, Shawar said.
The military said it arrested Shalaldeh, who was born in 1995 and comes from a family of “known Hamas operatives”.
“Around 20 undercover Israeli forces stormed the hospital, terrorized and threatened the medical staff, and then stormed the room of Azzam Shalaldeh, who was shot last month by Israeli settlers”, Al-Ahli Hospital Director Jihad Shawer told Anadolu Agency.
On Friday, Palestinian protesters clashed with Israeli forces in areas across the West Bank, as well as in areas along Gaza’s border with Israel.
Last March, the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Central Council took the decision to “end security coordination in all its forms with the Israeli occupation” because of the systematic violation of previous accords by the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Hebron Mayor Daoud Zaatari said his city council is urging the Palestinian Authority and the worldwide community for help in recovering the bodies.
The militant Islamic group Hamas praised the latest killing – but denied playing any part in the double homicide. He was identified by hospital workers as a cousin of the Palestinian suspect.
Since mid-September, most of the Palestinian attacks have been stabbings, targeting seemingly random pedestrians or people passing by, but Friday’s attack appeared to be more carefully planned and executed. Human rights groups have called the practice collective punishment.
