ReutersThe original Google Glass.Google is reportedly developing a new wearable device that will be the successor to Google Glass, The Information reports.

The publication says that the glass-less Google Glass will be designed for “sports” users. A new report, however, suggests that Google may also have a second Glass wearable in the works that is eliminating the screen from the equation, in addition to one variant of the wearable that has one on board.

Both gadgets, and a third that Google is reportedly working on, will use “bone conduction” to deliver sound to the wearer. Its not stated how this would be different from headphones or a Bluetooth earpiece, but an audio-only device could still achieve Glass original goal of hands-free computing.

It is likely that Google will focus the next generation of Glass at enterprise, where it can be used to provide heads-up information to all manner of workers, from surgeons and pilots to warehouse staff and receptionists.
