‘Supergirl,’ ‘NCIS: LA,’ and ‘Legends’ episodes replaced after Paris attacks
Monday at 8:00 p.m., CBS will be airing a different episode of Supergirl than the one initially planned.

“NCIS Los Angeles”, a law enforcement drama, had been scheduled to air an episode on Monday about women recruited by extremist organizations. The decision was made due to the sensitive subject matter and how they may correlate with the recent events that transpired in France on Friday (Nov. 13).
The network clearly wanted to keep original episodes in the hours, since it’s midway through the important November sweeps, which affiliates use to set advertising rates.
Similar to Supergirl, the NCIS: LA episode meant to air this Monday also dealt with themes that hit a little too close to home after Friday’s events.
The episode will also feature the villain, Livewire, after whom the episode was named after. In its place will be a Thanksgiving episode of the Melissa Benoist-starring show in which Kara thinks her holiday may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), is coming to town. In August, USA Network postponed the first-season finale of Mr. Robot after the fatal shootings of two Virginia journalists on live television.
Meanwhile, studio Lionsgate has revealed that the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will be scaled back.
All three shows – CBS’ “Supergirl” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and TNT’s “Legends” – had stories related to terrorism. And Saturday Night Live nixed an opening monologue in favor of a message of support for Paris.

Over 129 people died and 352 were injured in eight coordinated the Paris attacks. As those jobs tends to turn episodes into mini action-thrillers with a fair share of violence, its safe to bet that the episode that was pulled would be insensitive to audiences.
