Chittoor Mayor Killers Surrendered

In a shocking incident, the Mayor of Chittoor Kathari Anuradha has been brutally killed in broad daylight on Tuesday.

The police has already identified five persons who shot the Mayor and her husband, Mohan. Though municipal staff tried to stop the gang members, they didn’t succeed. The trio escaped immediately after the attack.

Mayor Anuradha, who received severe knife injuries and bullet injuries in the head, died on the spot, while her husband was rushed to a local hospital in Chittoor. Her husband Mohan was also shot and then attacked with knives. Mr. Mohan’s condition deteriorated in the hospital and he was shifted to the Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

Katari Mohan is a prime accused in the attempt to murder former Chittoor MLA CK Jayachandra Reddy alias CK Babu. Anuradha had however won a thumping majority for the party and had become the mayor.

The mayor of Chittoor town in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh has been killed by unknown attackers. The Police officials are investigating about the attack and police officials are investigating in all possible angles that this attacks by enemies of Katari Anuradha. Two people have surrendered and other details would be come out in 24 hours.
