CBS Replaces Upcoming ‘Supergirl’ & ‘NCIS’ Episode In Light Of Paris Terror

The scrapped Supergirl episode. titled “How Does She Do It?” had Kara dealing with bombings throughout National City.

The network said the programming changes were made out of sensitivity to the events.

However, ABC still plans to go ahead with Sunday night’s scheduled episode of its terrorism drama Quantico, according to Deadline.com.

CBS has decided not to run the “Supergirl” episode it had scheduled for Monday. In its place the network will move up the show’s Thanksgiving episode, which was originally set for November 23. Is there anything that happens in the “How Does She Do It?” episode that impacts what happens in the “Livewire” episode? In addition to Bean, the new season stars Winter Ave Zoli (Sons of Anarchy), Steve Kazee (Shameless), Aisling Franciosi (The Fall), Kelly Overton (True Blood), Klara Issova (Crossing Lines) and Ralph Brown (Agent Carter).

CBS has also replaced this weeks episode of NCIS: Los Angeles which focuses on a terrorist group. Considering ISIS was responsible for the attacks on Paris, CBS will be replacing that episode with one which was supposed to air in December. This episode has nothing to do with religious extremists or warfare.

The attacks that took place in Paris over the weekend were devastating both politically and personally, and shows of support for France have emerged on just about every front.

On Friday, the Foo Fighters canceled the rest of the European tour and U2 canceled their live HBO showafter the Paris tragedies. Many of those who died were concertgoers at an Eagles of Death Metal gig at the Bataclan venue, which was stormed by terrorists who opened fire on the audience. However, their merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, 36, a native of England, perished in the attack.
