“I just like the staff, and I like Coach Cal [John Calipari]”. – Kentucky added the fourth piece to another loaded recruiting class Tuesday morning when power forward Edrice Adebayo committed to join the Wildcats for the 2016-17 season. High Point Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) forward Edrice Adebayo got the nickname “Bam Bam” from his mother after he picked up a coffee table while watching The Flintstones when he was just 1.
“Adebayo is a 6’9”, 235 pound, power forward.
However, NC State has the other top point guard in Dennis Smith, Jr. a close friend of Adebayo. Adebayo is ranked as the No. 6 player in the class of 2016, according to ESPN. “I like the staff and I like Coach Cal”.
Calipari has already established a strong future for the United Kingdom frontcourt with commitments from Wenyen Gabriel and Sacha Killeya-Jones, and the addition of Adebayo will make a strong case for the No. 1 class ranking in the 247Sports Composite. “I’m just anxious about winning the national title”.
Kentucky has another monster recruiting class coming in 2016.

Adebayo averaged 32 points and 21 rebounds while leading the Northside-Pinetown (North Carolina) Panthers to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 1A East regional final in 2014-15.
