Little Mix enthusiastic about meeting ‘bad boy’ Prince Harry at Royal
The X Factor-winning girl group, which stars South Shields girls Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards alongside Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, said they were nervous about meeting Prince Harry during their first appearance at the annual show.

The band are part of the star-studded line-up for the evening, hosted by Jack Whitehall, which will see artists like Sir Elton John, One Direction and Kylie Minogue also performing.

“I’m not planning on it right now”, Styles said.
And it looks like Minogue can count Prince Harry among her fan base- she was greeted warmly by the 31-year-old royal, who told her he “loved” her performance after kissing her on both cheeks.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s attendance last year, and Harry’s presence this year, is a demonstration of how the younger members of the family are stepping in to help the Queen.
“I’m petrified. I’m just nervous about everything”, said Perrie.
In the past, Whitehall has used his links to Kate and Marlborough College in his performances, telling of his mother’s disappointment that he failed to marry the former Miss Middleton.
The first Royal Film Performance, A Matter of Life and Death, was held in 1946 and attended by King George VI; his wife, Queen Elizabeth; and their daughters, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret.
“I don’t want to to mention any names… ahem Kylie Minogue… ahem…”
Whitehall said he would put in a good word with any act Harry liked the look of.
During the show, comedian Jimmy Tarbuck paid tribute to his “dear friend” Cilla Black who died this year.
She said: “It’s such an honour, isn’t it?”
Ricky Martin, Josh Groban and Beverly Knight also performed.
Tarbuck also said he is sure everyone would like to thank Harry for the “courage, grit and determination” he has shown.

The charity show is being filmed tonight and will be shown on ITV in December.
