Prince Postpones European Tour “Until Further Notice”

The Purple Rain star’s live shows were due to start in Austria on November 21, and the tour included concerts in Britain and Sweden.

Tickets for the British leg of the tour had been due to go on sale last week, but the sale was postponed indefinitely because Prince was annoyed that ticket touts were trying to sell tickets at inflated prices.

Another 40-plus people were killed in terror attacks across the French capital.

The California rock group Eagles of Death Metal was performing at the venue when gunmen burst in. The band had been due to perform at the Bercy Arena in the French capital 16 November and at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, France, the following day. The band was continuing the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE world tour going to Paris from Glasgow, Scotland.

His concert promoters in Paris could not be reached for comment.
