Carson Campaign Thinks Trump Is ‘Crazy’
Recalling passages from Carson’s book, Trump compared the retired neurosurgeon’s self-proclaimed “pathological temper” to the mindset of child molesters.

Another big crowd turned out in Fort Dodge, Iowa Thursday night to see the undisputed ratings king of the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump.
“How stupid are the people of the country?”
Trump’s assault continued Friday with a campaign ad posted on Instagram, featuring a video clip of Carson talking about how, as a young man with anger issues, he had attempted to stab his mother.
When Donald Trump declared his candidacy for President of the United States we expected him to provide comic relief for the electorate, to be a nuisance to the serious contenders, and to walk away after a couple of months to pursue other entertainment and business opportunities. “That’s what the people of America are concerned about, not so much politics as usual, politics of personal destruction – that’s what the American people are sick and exhausted of”. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday at a campaign event in Fort Dodge, Iowa… Marco Rubio of Florida, who is rising in the polls, was “weak like a baby, like a baby” and “not a good poker player because every time he’s under pressure he starts to just profusely sweat”. “Look, I hope he’s fine because I think it would be a shame”. Voters may acquiesce to this as another part of the show, the best way audiences submit to, & even laugh together with, a stand-up comedian who’s brutally ridiculing them.
He also objected to a question saying Trump likened him to a child molester, saying that was media spin. He also railed against the people of Iowa as naive and gullible for believing Carson’s stories.
A Twitter user with the handle @JoeDelgadoJr tweeted to Trump’s official account @realDonaldTrump: “You need to recant this “stupid” people of Iowa statement. and child molester comparison was not a mature attack”. As Trump attacked Carson using deeply personal language, the audience grew quiet, a few shaking their heads.
A commentator who is conservative for Fox, Mary Katharine Ham warned on Friday it could turn risky for Trump to attack Carson in this type of fashion.
Trump has thus far avoided going after the Texas senator, with the two even sharing a stage at a rally against the Iran deal back in September. Trump asked during a speech Thursday night.
Then he went on to disparage others in the field.
Trump’s political demise has been wrongly predicted numerous times already.
Ford O’Connell, a Republican strategist, said Trump’s declining support among evangelical voters may open the door for Carson to eventually grab the lead in the presidential race.

But if you listen closely, you’ll hear Carson say something else: Ask God, believe it and He will deliver you. Should Trump fixate on you and take the flame-thrower out to light you up, it’s very possible he could destroy your candidacy in his I’ve-got-nothing-left-to-lose strategy. “A feeling of lightness flowed over me, and I knew a change of heart had taken place”, Carson wrote in his memoir. “I know in this room that’s a different story”.
