After getting off to a quick 2-0 start with Tony Romo under center, the team suffered a major setback when their quarterback hit the disabled list.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers only managed one trip into the red zone Sunday afternoon.

Cole Beasley’s 22-yard punt return started the Cowboys’ second possession at their 48. Then there was a drive in the third quarter when the offense seemed to have a few momentum building, but Bryant’s drop on an easy slant pattern put an end to that drive.

Midway through his first season as the primary play caller, Smith appears to finally have the right combination of cornerbacks and safeties, because he has indeed become more aggressive.
On the next play, Hardy fell – or, as his attorney might say, “tripped over a scale” – and Jameis Winston lobbed a screen pass over him to Martin, who slipped a couple of tackles and picked up 25 yards. It would be great to win two in a row, great to get to.500.
