SEGA to Deploy Two Valkyria Chronicles Titles on the PS4
Valkyria Chronicles IV was revealed in the latest issue of Japanese games magazine Famitsu (via Kotaku), alongside a remake of the first self-titled game in the series from 2008 for PS4. Media Vision is in charge of development, which is good news considering it developer Valkyria Chronicles 3 for the PSP.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution’s plot centres around the rapid expansion of the Rus Empire after the discovery of the azure mineral Ragnite.
The remastered Valkyria Chronicles will include a demo for Azure Revolution and release in February 2016. The empire is, however, blockading a smaller country called Jutland, which is seeking “independence and freedom from colonial rule”.
The game’s protagonist is a commanding officer in the Judland Kingom’s Anti-Valkyria Unit. We don’t have details of a western release yet. Other characters such as Ophelia, princess of Jutland, and Brynhildr, a Valkyria sided with the Rus Empire, have also been confirmed as appearing. We first got wind of a possible new Valkyria game after SEGA trademarked a name last month.

Finally, a new Valkyria game! After releasing a remaster of the original to acclaim and building a wider audience, Sega is poised to bring the series to the current generation of consoles.
