For Serena Williams, the toughest test in tennis turned out to be pretty routine at Wimbledon.

Serena has a 15-11 record against her sister and a 4-2 record at Wimbledon.
But Serena has passed her by in terms of career achievements: racking up 20 Grand Slam singles titles to her sister’s seven, piling up the weeks at No. 1 and the head-to-head edges over her would-be rivals.
Serena Williams was not interested in talk of winning all four grand slams this year after her win over sister Venus.
Venus was the first to turn professional, the first to create a buzz in the small world of professional tennis and the wider world beyond, and also the first to win Wimbledon and reach No. 1. Play on the two main courts is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

Venus, 35, and Serena have combined to win 27 major titles, including five for each at Wimbledon.
The match was a complete contrast to Serena’s three-set victory over Heather Watson on Friday when the British player came within a couple of points of beating the world No 1.

I couldn’t keep up with her…I should have won the second set and I didn’t. Serena was emerging as the victor in their encounters though, and won here 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. Gasquet was up 6-4 in the tiebreaker but the Australian saved both match points before converting his fourth set point to take the match to a fourth.
Djokovic will next face Marin Cilic on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
Vika, on the other hand, is playing for her 10th Wimbledon. But the top-seeded Serb can still defend his title at Wimbledon, a victory that would give him a third championship at the All England Club.
The 33-year-old clinched the match after just over an hour. Djokovic and Anderson split the opening two sets on Monday before play was suspended by darkness. A few moments later, a large cloud rolled in and the spectators quickly reached for their umbrellas.
