The latest killings come amid a wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence in the last two months.

Israeli media aired footage from the aftermath of the attack, showing a crashed auto by the roadside.

The home on the top floor of a three-storey building was destroyed with explosives, residents said, also damaging the other floors and nearby residences. “Thanks to our aggressive policy against terrorism – to control the ground, go into the villages, demolish terrorists’ homes and take preventive action against the infrastructures of terrorism – along with the determined action of the IDF and the security services in carrying out this policy, we succeed many times in frustrating and preventing more serious disasters”, Netanyahu said.

A resident calling himself Abu Amr said he heard noises at around 2:00 am and opened his window to check.

Israel this week filed a complaint with the worldwide Committee of the Red Cross, after the wounded from Friday’s attack claimed that a Red Crescent ambulance drove past them and would not stop to help them.

Netanyahu said Israel is no more blame for the terror against it than France is. Troops then fired rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the protesters, the military said.

Deputy Foreign Minister Tsipi Hotovely sparked controversy recently when she said she dreamed that one day an Israeli flag would fly over the Temple Mount site. His wife, three daughters and another son had minor injuries.

On Monday, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah condemned the killings and home demolition in Qalandia.

It was reminiscent of a similar incident in October, when Palestinians shot and killed an Israeli couple in front of their four children, including a 4-months-old infant, as the family was driving in the West Bank. The modern Palestinian national movement, from its inception, was a terrorist movement that aimed to extinguish Israel as a sovereign Jewish state through “hatred and brutality”. Palestinians say the violence is due to a lack of hope for gaining independence.

“The current escalation of violence with individual attacks by Palestinians against Israelis, excessive use of force by Israeli forces when apprehending Palestinian suspects of alleged attacks and in the context of clashes, as well as violent attacks by settlers against Palestinians, is occurring within the existing context of policies and practices under the longstanding Israeli occupation which entail violations of Palestinian human rights and raise tensions”, the experts noted.

Layth Mansara, 21, and Ahmad al-Aysh, 28, were shot dead by Israeli forces during the early hours of Monday in Qalandia refugee camp.

The military said a Palestinian was shot after he grabbed a soldier’s gun at a protest where Palestinians threw fire bombs. Three other people were wounded, the ministry said; one was shot in the stomach and reported in critical condition at a Ramallah hospital.

Jamal Lafi, head of the Qalandiya camp’s popular committee, told AFP that “a large force from the Israeli army invaded the camp from all sides after midnight”.

The PA is the organization deemed by much of the western world to be worthy of leading a new Palestinian state in Judea, Samaria and parts of Jerusalem, historically Jewish lands from which the fledgling government demands be ethnically cleansed of all Jews.
