HIV damages the immune system’s ability to function, which can eventually lead to acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), the final stage of the disease.
Sheen also said that since then has only had unprotected sex with two women, who were both “warned ahead of time” and under the care of his doctor.
“There’s a lot about that I’m not really proud of”, Sheen said.
