Charlie Sheen reveals he is HIV positive
Sheen said that he had been paying a few people money who knew about his condition to keep quite about it. These people demanded money for their silence.

You might be remember Olson as one of the two “goddesses” Sheen was living with during his infamous “tiger blood” Today Show interview in 2011.
Public health officials say even with drug treatment, the best way to protect others from catching HIV is for infected people to use condoms.
Mr Sheen said he was not “entirely sure” how he contracted the virus but that he had not knowingly passed it on to anyone else.
Sheen’s physician, Dr. Robert Huizenga, an associate professor of clinical medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, told Lauer the actor “does not have AIDS”.
When Lauer asked Sheen about the “upwards of $10 million” Sheen said he’d paid blackmailers, Sheen – who was once the highest-paid actor on TV – admitted his financial situation was “not great”.
Another Twitter posting said: “I don’t condone Charlie Sheen’s recklessness, but the headlines and jokes about it show just how little society has progressed”.
United States actor Charlie Sheen, as well known for his on-screen work as his off-screen debauchery with drugs, alcohol and prostitutes, has disclosed, as anticipated, that he’s HIV positive. “I think I released myself from this prison today”.
He said he had informed his ex-wives, actresses Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards, immediately after getting his diagnosis.
Charlie explains, “It started with what I thought was a series of crushing headaches”.
In a recent case in San Diego, a man was sentenced to six months in jail for not telling a sexual partner he was HIV positive. “We’re so, so anxious that if he was overly depressed, if he was abusing substance, he would forget these pills and that’s been an incredible worry”, his doctor said. I’ve paid those people, not that many, but enough to bring it into the millions. HIV damages the immune system’s ability to function, which can eventually lead to acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), the final stage of the disease.
Sheen also said that since then has only had unprotected sex with two women, who were both “warned ahead of time” and under the care of his doctor.
“There’s a lot about that I’m not really proud of”, Sheen said.
