“It was a bloodbath inside the theater”, recalled survivor Julien Pearce. “We haven’t really had a chance to process it yet”, said Addison Nugent Fonio, 27.

After several minutes of lying still on the Bataclan’s floor, Pearce and people around him made a decision to move as the gunmen paused to reload. Psenny wrapped the man’s leg in a tourniquet and they waited until police raided the building.
At least 112 people were killed in the attack at Bataclan, the French interior ministry said. He then saw “everyone” running from the theater and immediately thought of the September 11 attacks. Gunfire can be heard from inside.

The Bataclan theater has a capacity of 1,500 people and was said to be sold out.

When he reached the street, he saw 20-25 people laying on the ground – many of them dead or very badly injured.
A source close to the probe said investigators are now searching the homes of other friends and relatives of the killer.

“There were wounded, it was really odd because they looked terribly wounded and they were obviously conscious but they weren’t crying out, they were obviously trying to stay quiet so that they didn’t attract more gunfire”, he said.
