Holm stayed unbeaten with her win over Rousey, which was her seventh career stoppage in 10 MMA fights.

The boxer took to Instagram to thank everyone for their love and explain that she is doing well after she was hospitalized after her fight with Holly Holm. She noted, “I’m fine”.

“Ronda has lost before, she lost at the Olympic games and I think that was a great test for her and look at how she came back, she came back a multi-time world champion”. Please note that comments are automatically checked for inappropriate language and will be removed accordingly.

There has been a groundswell of reaction following Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm on Saturday at UFC 193.

Rousey and Mayweather’s sniping first started in July, after she won the ESPY for Best Fighter, for which Mayweather was also a nominee.

However, Holm told TMZ Sports that although she may be coming from a more “humble spot”, the fight wouldn’t have been possible without Rousey.

Mayweather then retorted by asking Rousey to call him “when she makes $300m in 36 minutes”, just like he did when he fought Manny Pacquiao in May.

Going into UFC 193, Ronda was defending her Women’s Bantamweight Championship. I’ve been on the end of losing a fight and there’s a piece of my heart that has compassion towards that because I know how it feels.

Before the match, Rousey admitted that Holm would be her toughest opponent to date, but she likely did not realise how right she was.

Holm, 34, said she felt “great” despite the beating she took on Sunday night. I couldn’t tell you how many times I cried in the gym leading up to it. I wasn’t going to lose. She did not, he said, have a concussion or a broken jaw. In a huge upset, Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm broke “Rowdy” Rousey’s undefeated 12-0 record 59 seconds into the second round*. I think she needs to revamp her footwork, revamp her striking and know how to face a southpaw like Holly Holm.
