Dancing with the Stars Results: Who Made it Through the Semifinals?
Bindi, who’s competing on ABC’s Los Angeles-based “Dancing with the Stars”, encouraged her father’s fans “on the other side of the world” to celebrate the occasion Sunday.

Tamar Braxton is finally getting released from the hospital after blood clots made her ill and unable to finish the Dancing With the Stars competition. She also hailed Pena Vega as an equal with the pros. During September’s premiere, Irwin danced the jive to Elton John’s “Crocodile Rock”, dressed in khakis before whipping them off to reveal a sparkly green dress. Partnered with Hough and Mark Ballas, Irwin kept up like a pro and remains the contender for the show. The judges were impressed and they scored 29 points. Everything worked here: Linsday’s angelic white gown, “America the Beautiful” in the background, a huge flag flying high against the wind machine.
The team walked away with another flawless score for the number.
Meanwhile, Carlos PenaVega and pro Witney Carson followed close behind with their contemporary dance.
Would Carlos (better dancer) or Alek (bigger fan base) be left standing by the end of the night?
In the dance-offs, Bindi turned up the heat to secure the bonus points, which gave her score an added boost of three heading into the trio dances. In addition, the couples will have a dance-off. And obviously Carlos could rise to any challenge with his upper body strength.
Dancing with the Stars results last Monday featured a peculiar turn of events. The couples went toe-to-toe, so speak, but they traded off rather than dancing at the same time, which had been distracting in a previous episode. It was stated that Nick and Sharna will be performing the samba against Derek and Bindi. This “totally compelling and intriguing work of genius” (according to Bruno) had Bindi breathing life into electric lanterns, swinging a rope around her own neck, and conveying unique lyrical expressions in a wire frame box, such as “Death to Derek” and “Get me out of this box!”
Carlos, Witney, and Karina Smirnoff danced a high-energy Charleston that was fun and bouncy.
Alek, Lindsay and Emma Slater danced an Argentine tango, natch, because it’s the sexiest style around and Alek has gone to great pains to admit just how unsexy he is. Afterwards it was Bindi and Carlos who tied for the lead at 60, Alek at 57, and Nick with 54.

Would there still be an elimination with only four couples now that Tamar was out of the competition? Alek and Lindsay were called first to move on to the finals, Carlos and Witney will be joining them.
