Twelve Israelis have been killed in a spate of attacks by Palestinians, while 78 Palestinians have been killed, 50 of them said by Israel to be attackers, and the remainder killed in clashes with Israeli forces.

Two Israeli settlers were shot and killed by a Palestinian attacker on Friday afternoon as they drove through the southern Hebron Hills.
The group’s advocacy coordinator, Rafat Sub Laban, told Ma’an at the end of last month, that at least 988 Palestinians had been detained, including 578 in the occupied West Bank, 258 in East Jerusalem, and 152 in Israel. Osama Najjar, the spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry, called the incident an “assassination”, saying he believed Israel meant to kill Abdallah Shalalbeh. Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence agency later arrested five Palestinians it said were part of a Hamas cell that had carried out the attack. It said Azzam had “been smuggled” to the hospital for treatment after he was shot while stabbing an Israeli settler on October 25 near the Meitzar settlement in the Hebron area.
Meanwhile, a Hebron hospital said a Palestinian was shot and killed in clashes with Israeli security forces near the city on Friday.
The raid comes as a almost two month-long outburst of Israeli-Palestinian violence shows no sign of abating.
“The fact that Abdullah al-Shalalda was shot in the head and upper body suggests this was an extrajudicial execution, adding to a disturbing pattern of similar recent incidents by Israeli forces in the West Bank which warrant urgent investigation”, Luther added.
ALAA BADARNEH/EPA In addition to the deadly protests, an Israeli man and his teen son were killed while on their way to Sabbath services on Friday.
As Palestinians stabbed and shot Jews in Israel, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel movement launched an “international wave of action in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle”.
More than 500,000 Jewish settlers live in the West Bank and East Jerusalem on land that the Palestinians want for a future state.
“There are at least two Israeli snipers firing on the protesters”, he said.
Earlier, a Palestinian teenager in Hebron succumbed to his wounds after being shot by troops a day earlier.
Eyewitnesses report that a large group of Israeli soldiers and police entered the hospital at 2.43am disguised as Palestinian civilians, with a few wearing keffiyehs and fake beards and another being pushed in a wheelchair dressed as a pregnant woman.
“The protesters are mostly young people and they are about ten metres away from the soldiers”, Zanoun said.
“International Humanitarian Law requires the respect of health facilities and forbids any intrusion of the armed forces in these structures”, MSF said, adding that worldwide law “demands that sick and wounded people would be treated without any discrimination in conformity with medical ethics”.
