Stephen Curry has been incredible this season

While the Warriors brought nearly everybody back from last year’s 67-win championship team with a historic point differential of +10.1, there were a few doubts about whether Golden State could replicate the same kind of dominance again this season.

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and rookie forward Kristaps Porzingis scored 13 points.

Russell Westbrook scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half and finished with 16 assists. Curry answered with his seventh 3-pointer of the night to give the Warriors the lead for good as they became the fifth team to start consecutive seasons with five straight wins.

After blowing a 17-point lead, fans saw the Warriors down by 10 points in the fourth quarter.

So far the Clippers have faced a much easier schedule than the Warriors as they have only played one game against a team that was in the playoffs while the Warriors have played all four of their games against playoff teams from a year ago.

The Clippers didn’t just botch a play down the stretch against the Golden State Warriors, they actually forgot it.

In terms of the offense, Klay Thompson is most likely the Warriors’ secondary scorer behind Curry, but is Thompson truly the Warriors’ x-factor?

Finally, the play of Kenneth Faried could ultimately impact the margin of tonight’s game.

“I don’t know, I’ll find out”, coach Doc Rivers said, when asked to assess the extent of the injury. With Josh Smith hitting a fatal three pointer and Blake Griffin knocking down jump shots left and right, it seems that the Clippers are about to hand Curry and the Warriors their first loss.

The Warriors maintained the seven-point advantage halfway through the third quarter, but that’s when the Clippers made their run.

“We were pissed off”, Green said.

It was absolutely necessary on a night when the Warriors missed a lot of shots they normally make. If their rematch with the Warriors is the basis of who has the true MVP, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry takes this one by a mile. We’re getting more and more games together.

“I like our mentality right now, ” Curry said.

LeBron James took over the game in the fourth quarter, finishing with 23 points and five rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the NY Knicks 96-86. He was just 2-of-16 from 3-point range over the first four games, and the Nuggets have been hurt by the struggles of both Foye and fellow veteran reserve guard Jameer Nelson.
