Amazon reveals its Black Friday deals

Starting Friday and running through the day after Thanksgiving, the online retailer will one-up itself by adding new holiday deals as often as every five minutes. “You’ll find Amazon’s fantastic early Black Friday sales”, Amazon said on its website.

In a bid to get more people to shop in its mobile app over the Black Friday weekend, Amazon will be be making over 150 “hand-picked” Lightning Deals available inside its mobile app for iOS, Android and the company’s Fire OS.

Amazon has announced that its popular Black Friday sale event will begin this week, and last eight days.

Select deals include up to 45 percent off certain Samsung and LG televisions, savings of up to 50 percent on toy brands including Barbie and Hot Wheels, and 45 percent off New Balance shoes. As is the Amazon custom, there will be thousands of special “lightning deals” offered, with subscribers of Amazon’s $99 per year Prime subscription service getting a 30-minute head start on a majority of the deals. First, Amazon will slash prices off its own products: Kindle Paperwhite will cost $99.99, Kindle Fire will definitely be the cheapest big-name tablet around at $34.99, and the company will also slash $25 off of Amazon Fire TV and $15 off of Amazon Fire Stick and Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote. These deals can be found on the “App Only Deals” tab and will be released daily from 3 PM PT to 11 PM PT starting Thanksgiving through Wednesday, December 9.

With less than ten days before this year’s Black Friday, Amazon has unveiled its Black Friday ad for this monumental occasion.

Black Friday is next Friday, obviously, but it looks like Amazon wants customers to start their shopping early.
